Prize Money* |
| Place | Award |
| 1st M/F | $1,000 |
| 2nd M/F | $500 |
| 3rd M/F | $250 |
| *Prize money winners must be present at the awards ceremony or the money will be forfeited! W9s will be issued for those winning $600 or more. |
Prize money will be awarded to the top 3 M/F Overall. See prize money table for details.
Age-Groups are: 0-14, 15-19, 20-24, and then continuing in 5-year groups.
The depth of the Age-Group awards is based on the number
of registrations in the Age-Group as follows:
- 35 or less registered: 3 deep
- 36-49 registered: 4 deep
- 50+ registered: 5 deep
Precedence of awards will be Overall, Masters and then Age-Group and there will
be no multiple award winners. That means a person
who receives an Overall award will not be eligible for a Masters award and
neither Overall nor Masters award recipients will be eligible for Age-Group awards.
All award winners must beat the race cut-off of 2h30mins.
Awards Ceremony
Awards will be presented at 9:00am in Memorial Park which is right next to the Start/Finish.
In the event of rain, the awards ceremony will move across the street to the Mansions Park pavilion.
Awards No Shows:
No awards will be issued before the awards ceremony starts. Prize money winners must be present at the awards ceremony or the money will be forfeited unless it is a documented medical emergency.
Non prize money winners can have someone else stay and get their award. Awards will not be mailed and any awards not picked up at the awards ceremony will be forfeited. Bottom line,
the race director believes that the awards ceremony is as much a part of the race as the race itself!
