Shirts
All runners will receive a short sleeve technical T-shirt from New Balance.

Garden of the Gods 10 Mile Run Finisher Medal Awards
All finishers will receive a medal/keychain at the finish line as recognition of their accomplishment.

Unique awards (wooden manikin runners) will be presented to the top 3-5 M/F in each Age-Group, the top 5 M/F Masters and the top 10 M/F Overall.

A pair of New Balance shoes will be awarded to the 1st place M/F Overall and 1st place M/F Masters.

Prize money will be awarded to the top 4 M/F Overall. See prize money table for details.
Garden of the Gods 10 Mile Run - Top 10 Overall and Top 5 Masters Trophy Runners

Age-Groups are: 0-14, 15-19, 20-24, and then continuing in 5-year groups.

The depth of the Age-Group awards is based on the number of registrations in the Age-Group as follows:

35 or less registered: 3 deep
36-49 registered: 4 deep
50+ registered: 5 deep

Precedence of awards will be Overall, Masters and then Age-Group and there will be no multiple award winners. That means a person who receives an Overall award will not be eligible for a Masters award and neither Overall nor Masters award recipients will be eligible for Age-Group awards. The exception is the New Balance shoes which will go to the 1st place M/F Masters no matter if they are in the top 10 Overall or not. If a Masters runner wins the race they will get two pair.

Awards Ceremony
Awards will be presented at 9:40am in Memorial Park which is right next to the Start/Finish. In the event of rain, the awards ceremony will move across the street to the Mansions Park pavilion.

Awards No Shows:
Excluding medical emergencies, prize money and the New Balance shoes must be picked up in person at the awards ceremony or they will be forfeited. All other awards may be picked up by someone else. Awards not picked up at the awards ceremony will be available for the week after the race at Triple Crown of Running office — no awards will be mailed! See the packet pick-up page for office hours (they are limited) and directions. After that they will be recycled. Bottom line, the race director believes that the awards ceremony is as much a part of the race as the race itself!
